#4 Tension Scale

How to use:  Put a piece of paper between the brush and the commutator.  Using the hook on the tension scale, lift the brush arm or constant force spring on the brush holder.  While lifting up on the scale and watching the pressure reading, pull slightly on the piece of paper that you have placed between the brush and the commutator.  When the paper pulls free, note the reading on the scale.
